What a beautiful show. Constant energy and power, delivered through the lights, the dancing, and the singing. There's no break or lull the entire time. These actors must be exhausted by the end, but they never show it.

The plot has great humour and a positive spirit, but it also touches on some deep topics like racism, prejudice, and discrimination. It gets those across through powerful songs and smart symbolism. It delivers the lessons in a heartfelt and caring way rather than a preachy one.

Our Tracy had such great energy and a strong voice that carried her role easily. Motormouth Maybelle had a deep, rich voice that brought real soul and pain to her solo "I Know Where I've Been." The whole thing was well cast with each actor leaning into their part perfectly.

The highlight was "You Can't Stop the Beat." It brought a powerful punch of energy to the whole stage. Five full minutes of the cast dancing their way to a grand finale. It's such an exciting way to close the show, and it truly lives up to its name. The number was infectious. The whole audience left the auditorium with huge smiles.
